Professor David Leach from the University of Victoria Department of Writing and a Faculty Research Fellow at the Centre for Co-operative and Community-Based Economy will explore the changes in the internal relations and the external perceptions of Israel’s famous communal movement, and what this history can teach Canadian communities and institutions (including the co-op movement and our own “citadel on the hill” at UVic), in a talk that combines memoir, scholarly research and investigative travelogue.
