Associations

While the majority of student co-operatives are organized to provide students with low-cost, democratically controlled housing, students on college and university campuses across North America also use the co-operative business model to provide dining services, bicycle repair, bookstores, and other services to students. Student co-operatives provide members with an educational experience that emphasizes responsibility and democracy often fostering co-operative leaders.
