Energy Co-ops
This web report is based on research I conducted for BCICS in August 2003. The sections are meant to introduce the reader to the energy co-op sector, provide a few examples of energy co-ops and related organisations, and provide resources that might assist those interested in furthering their studies in co-operative energy.
Some sections contain links to outside resources and websites providing readers with portals that offer a variety of perspectives on the energy co-op sector and resources not found on the BCICS website.
The examples in this report should not be considered representative of all energy co-ops. Rather, they offer readers a starting point for research and a brief introduction to an exciting and quickly emerging energy co-op movement.
